Costner-Fulton Mission Start Up Grants Applications Due October 1
The Creative Ministries Team will be awarding 2014 Costner-Fulton grants for launching new mission projects. Email your one-page only grant proposal to email@example.com. The proposal needs to include a mechanism for evaluating the success of the mission after 6 months and 12 months. In addition to the proposal, send a budget showing anticipated income and expenses and showing where additional funds will be received. Several grants from $1,000 to $5,000 will be awarded. NOMADS Annual Meeting - Sept 6-12 in Branson
NOMADS (Nomads On a Mission Active in Divine Service) provide volunteer labor for new construction, remodeling and repairs for churches, children's home, camps, colleges, outreach missions and disaster rebuilding throughout the US. Most NOMADS travel and live in their RV while volunteering. The 2014 Annual Meeting will be held at the Branson KOA, Animal Safari Road. Bishop Robert Schnase will lead the 6 pm Sunday evening worship and communion service and Bishop Gary Muller will lead devotions at 7 am on Monday.. The public is invited.

Rainbow Ride on the Katy Trail - Sat, Oct 18
The Festival of Sharing is sponsoring a bike ride fund raiser for The
Rainbow Network with the goal of each rider raising $360 for a full
year scholarship for a student in Nicaragua. Riders will leave the

Rev. Michael Dunlap recently shared that he uses this mass notification system to send recorded voice mail messages to his Norborne UMC congregation about events, prayer requests, etc. The pricing is based on the number of phone numbers that you use to spread your message.
